The Connections Class is the perfect starting place for visitors and new members to meet others at Woodmont and find community! We read and discuss books of the Bible and contemporary books on faith and spiritual growth!

Points of View – Sundays @ 11:00 AM (RM 105) – Location 5

The Points of View class invites members to consider a variety of biblical and contemporary topics. Open, honest, and supportive discussion is a hallmark of the class and provides the means for spiritual growth and faith development. Recent topics include the fruit of the Spirit, the threat Christian nationalism poses to both church and state, and some of the book of Psalms “greatest hits.”

Reflections Class – Sundays @ 10:45 AM (Room 200) with Virtual Option – Location 8

The format lead by Dr. Roy Stauffer is an adult Bible study with open discussions of the scripture. While open to all, our class age averages from late 60’s and up. Coffee is served and we seek outreach opportunities within the community.

21st Century Class – Sundays @ 9:30 AM (Boardroom) – Location 19

This class dives deeply into how scripture guides a Christian response to current events based on social justice and the gospel.

The Gathering Class – Sundays @ 8:30AM (Boardroom) (aligns with 8:30 am SS for children) – Location 20

A space to come together for prayer, study, and community. The class is especially geared toward parents in the season of raising children — whether little ones, school-aged, or teenagers — but is open to anyone seeking connection and fellowship.

A Place for Peace – Sundays @ 8:30AM (RM 100) (aligns with 8:30 am SS for children) – Location 21

Intended as an opportunity for connection and intentional gathering for depleted parents. We will follow guided readings and scripture each week to prompt discussion.

2nd Tuesday of the month – Fellowship Night Other Events Through out the year Young Professionals Ministry is our ministry for those in their 20’s and 30’s with opportunities for fellowship, spiritual developments and outreach with peers.

CYF (CHRISTIAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP) (9TH – 12TH Grades) – Location 29

4:00pm Youth Gathering on Sundays — There are Small Groups during the week available as well. Contact Katie to learn more! This incredible way to get plugged into our youth community includes games, music, devotionals, and spiritual practices. Middle school and high school have separate groups that allow time for students to build relationships with one another and dive deeper into conversation.

Chi Rho Middle School Fellowship (6th – 8th Grades) – Location 28

9:30am worship and 4:00pm youth gathering on Sundays – Small Group Opportunities Available. We gather in the youth lounge for fellowship, small groups, and worship with our adult youth sponsors leading them through scriptures as well as discussing how faith is relevant in our lives.

Mah Jongg – Location 3

Thursdays, 1:00-2:30pm in the Gathering Hall. Mah Jongg is an ancient Chinese tile game that began gaining popularity in the US in the 1920″s. It’s a fun game involving strategy and luck.

The Grief Group with Faye Tevebaugh – Location 16

Every other Thursday at Faye Tevebaugh’s House. Support group for those going through grief whether it be from the loss of a loved one, friend, or anything significant such as a job, relationship, financial wellbeing, etc. It may be a recent loss or something from longer ago that is stirring feelings in the present.

Prison Ministry Team – Location 18

Have you ever wondered how you could be an encouraging presence for someone who is incarcerated? Or learn more about the many justice issues involved in the system of incarceration in Tennessee? The new formed Prison Ministry Team is a group of committed people of faith wanting to show the love of Jesus to those whom others have forgotten. This group meets monthly on Tuesday evenings.

Clay’s Men’s Group – Location 12

Wednesday mornings at 7am, in the Board Room Clay Stauffer leads this group and usually focuses on the scripture for the upcoming Sunday. Topics include – faith, spiritual growth, family, friendship, money, stress, meaning, and other topics. Sometimes the group will divide up for the discussion.

Wednesday Mornings at 8am, in the Boardroom Jerry Johnson leads this group following the 7am group with Clay, focusing on the scripture for the upcoming Sunday along with the same topics from Clay’s 7am group.

3rd Sunday each month, 4-5:30pm @ Campbell West. Times can change, so contact Tammy to receive monthly communications. A group for moms with youth ranging from 6th-12th grade meeting once a month to talk about the ups and downs of raising teenagers.
