KINDS of SMALL GROUPS!

Woodmont offers three basic KINDS of small groups! Dinner Groups, Life Groups, and CWF Circles. Dinner Groups are primarily for fellowship and to meet new people. Life Groups take participants a little deeper – focusing on study, community, and service. CWF Circles are long-standing groups inside of our Christian Women’s Fellowship.

Dinner For Eight Groups

Dinner for Eight Groups are formed twice a year – in August and in January. They meet once a month for FOUR months (September throughDecember OR February through March) at people’s homes in restaurants, at the park – WHEREVER people are able to SHARE a meal and have conversation! This is the BEST way for those new to Woodmont to meet quickly others from church.

At the end of the “semester,” groups have the option to continue meeting or members may re-register for a different group to meet some other Woodmonters!

Registration forms are posted in August and January. Links may be found on the church website, the Sunday Bulletin, and the weekly Spire newsletter. “Life Groups”

WCC’s Life Groups are spaces to go deep and read and discuss a book, explore a topic of interest, have spiritual conversation, or simply discover ways to intentionally share life with others!

Life groups can meet monthly or weekly – that’s totally up to the group! Many book and topic groups are “short-duration” groups. They will meet for a set length of time until they’ve finished their study.

Others can meet indefinitely as deep friendships form. These groups can switch topics with each “season” that they are in and reflecting the interests of the group.

As Life Groups forme, they are promoted in the Sunday Bulletin as well as the weekly Spire newsletter (email).

For more information on available Life Groups, you may contact Jay Hutchens – jayhutchens@woodmontcc.org or Tammy Morgan – tammy@woodmontcc.org. Sign up for Life Groups HERE.

CWF Circles

The Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF) at Woodmont is a 200 member strong women’s organization that meets once a month as a large group gathering featuring a speaker and a luncheon. This occurs on the first Tuesday of the month.

The CWF offers a number of group meetings (circles) – many of which meet on the THIRD Tuesday of the month. Some of the groups meet at other times to provide members with varying options.
